Dun & Bradstreet\'s Business Information Solutions department provides its clients with a wide source of business intelligence, through its Company360 online database. Company360 provides information on Australia\'s top 50,000 companies, and is recognised as Australia\'s premier source of public and private business intelligence data.

    Dun & Bradstreet are seeking a self motivated Business Writer with a positive attitude to join the Business Information Solutions business writing team.

    Responsibilities:
    • Using various sources of information, investigate and write insightful profiles on Australian private companies and biographies on the executives who run them.
    • Collate information from disparate sources and write a cohesive insightful profile on a company to a template structure including but not limited to: company overview, products & operations, competitors and executives.
    • In addition to writing new business articles, edit, proofread and maintain existing business profiles.
    • Expand the number of executives and board members covered by D&B to include information not readily available to the public through other sources.

    • Perform updating as needed to ensure timeliness of the product.
    • Assist with testing of and management of the Company360 product.

    You will demonstrate:
    • Completion of a tertiary Journalism, Communications or Business degree.
    • Strong general business knowledge.
    • Mastery of journalism standards including objectivity, accuracy, and libel laws.
    • Proficiency in using search engines and other features associated with culling information from the Internet.
    • Ability to work independently and in teams or other small groups.
    • Ability to meet production goals and deadlines, delegating when necessary.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
    • Ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
    • Self-motivated with a positive, professional mature €ścan do€ť attitude.
